Every hand deserves to be held.

We are a newly established non-profit foundation in Cyprus, dedicated to supporting children and adults on the autism spectrum — and the families who love them.

- OUR VISION -

A Cyprus where every person on the spectrum finds their place.

"We envision a society where neurodiversity isn't an obstacle but part of our shared human richness. Where children receive the help they need on time, families don't feel alone, and adults have the chance to live lives of meaning."

  • Support
No family should face autism alone — financially, emotionally, or socially.

  • Integration
From school to workplace, we build bridges instead of walls — through understanding, information, and practical tools.

  • Dignity
Every person on the spectrum deserves to be treated as a whole human — with rights, a voice, and choices.

- OUR STORY -
Born out of families, for families.

Helping Hands was founded by parents, educators, and health professionals who lived firsthand the gap between diagnosis and meaningful support in Cyprus.

We are dedicated to building an ecosystem where neurodivergent individuals aren't merely "accommodated" — they're celebrated. Where families find support sooner, schools find preparation, and society finds understanding.

We don't need fewer children on the spectrum. We need more support for the children who are already here.

- OUR GOALS -

What do we want to
have achieved
by 2028.

The foundation is supported by the voluntary efforts of healthcare professionals, educators, parents, and supporters. We will soon introduce our team and Board of Directors here.
"It's not enough to dream. We must set numbers, dates, and be accountable to those who trust us."

- What we do -

Four programs.
‍One goal.

Our programs are designed around the real needs of families and individuals on the spectrum — not those we assume exist.

Access to Therapies

Subsidized speech therapy, occupational therapy, and psychological support sessions for families who lack the means.

School Inclusion

Teacher training, classroom adaptations, and individualized learning support in partner schools across Cyprus.

Family Support

Parent groups, sibling workshops, and respite programs for primary caregivers who need a break.

Community Integration

Sensory-friendly events, public awareness campaigns, and workplace training.

Meetings that inspire change.

Our events bring the community together and fund our programs. Each one is an opportunity for us to connect.
